Aluminium Type 2 Fuel Tanks

New from Fairbank & Craven are these scratch-built aluminium fuel tanks for Split-screen Type 2s

We were sick of trying to modify rusty old fuel tanks in our own vans to suit the bigger-capacity motors we were using, so decided to have a batch scratch built instead.

These larger capacity (49 litre)units include proper fuel baffles - and even a breather tube, and come with the fuel sender unit hole laser cut in the stock position.

All the tanks are quality checked and are pressure tested to ensure leak free performance.

Naturally, a larger diameter fuel pipe bore comes as stock, and additional return lines can be added, if required.

Fitting is easy and we have been hooking them up to the stock filler necks using large diameter rubber hose just as you would with a bay window tank.
